power window confusion ? (HELP)

I'm replacing the drivers door power window motor on my 86 and the one that I took out looks to be the opposite of the new one. I looked on the website from where the part was bought and it shows that the left side and the right side has the same part #. Does this make since?

The two sides are different part numbers. You've got the one for the wrong side.
