WTB: 88 Cougar keyless entry keypad November 07, 2005, 01:43:41 PM I am looking for a keyless entry keypad with complete harness. I had got one from E-bay, but the harness was about 18 inches too short, and had a different plug on the end. Must have been from another Ford vehicle. Also it would not fit in the door opening unless it was upside down. So this part must be Cougar specific. Quote Selected

The one I have is from a Lincoln, the notch was on the 1/2 side. The only way it would fit was upside down. On a cougar unit the side that has the notch (9/0) measures 3/4 inch wide and the opposite side measures 7/8 inch (1/2). Quote Selected
