TC Rear Springs

Hey guys (and gals),
Is there any difference in '87/'88 TC rear springs and '83 Cougar LS rear springs?  Would there be any benefit to putting TC springs in a not-so-sporty car?  Any difference in spring rate, height, etc?  I've gotta drop out my old springs anyway to do an axle swap, so I thought if it might help, I'd try some TC's.  Thanks for the info.

they might lower the car a bit, maybe say a half inch to 3/4 of an inch

the springs in the TC's are more firm, but i have no numbers to help back that up, i know Chuck could give more in depth info
It's Gumby's fault.

And my '87 Sport had the exact same springs as most of the Turbo Coupes I've owned. The one exception is my 5.0'd TC, it has different spring codes than any of my others had. What the difference is I don't know. Also it has like a 3.8 front swaybar that apparently is original.

Is your 5.0 a sport or lx or what? the sport will have the TC rear springs

my TC sits a hell of a lot lower than my 3.8L car
