the new guy with the "FILA" October 31, 2005, 12:11:50 PM Hello all im new to the board and i own an 1984 ford thunderbird "FILA" model. This is my second thunderbird ever having i recked the first one a fe years ao and its been a long hard search to find the one i have now. Its been sitting for 10 years and i paid 300 for it. Funny thing is i put some fresh oil, gas, plugs, antifreez and she fired right up:locked: i wanna do a few mild things to it to at least get it to the 200 hp range it should not be to hard i hope. the new guy with the "FILA" Reply #11 – November 02, 2005, 03:14:04 PM the reason there rare is because only so few were made. and also who knows bout the survival rate of these cars. especially in the north east where they salt the hell out of the roads. Quote Selected
the new guy with the "FILA" Reply #12 – November 03, 2005, 11:55:41 PM Yeah aren't the HO motors 225hp? It's all easy parts to find at salvage yards, and run pretty cheap from what I have read. But congrats on grabbing a fila model bird. Quote Selected
