October 27, 2005, 12:39:33 AM I already expressed my bad feelings over this once.. but I'm annoyed enough that I feel I have to bring more attention to it.This place is a big source of info for many of us.. myself especially included.. and not the kind of info you can always get from a Haynes manual. Yet, out of 287 other "active users", only 19 tickets have been bought by you people for the fund raising drive for the board, viewable here.As I stated in the draw thread, I am just barely able to spare the money I did for this draw.. but I spared it. I've only been drawing a paycheck for the last month or so, and always less than $300 a week. Some of them under $200 a week. Been officially unemployed since 1999. (made some money on my own, but not enough or consistently to be worth claiming as some sort of big success) If I can do it, so can you. Even for one ticket at $10. Lay off the pizza for a day and eat a sandwich or something.Now mind you, Tom is up for 3 of those 19 tickets.. and Tom is one of the people here who probably gives 99.9% and takes .1% from the board.. so Tom gives far more than enough to excuse himself even if he didn't pony up.. but he did. So that leaves 16 tickets between 286 of you, on our little running count here. This isn't addressed to the Toms and the Chucks of this board. (for example) This is addressed to the rest of you. Time to pony up, folks. This isn't lasting for another full week. You have no real excuse, unless you're unemployed and one foot out of the poor house.. and even if you are, this place has probably given you enough to justify at least socking away 10 bucks for it to remain for another year.
