429 bird pic October 19, 2005, 02:58:18 PM newbie here..i just found this sight a few days ago..( lots of good info here )thought I would try posting a pic of my 84 elan 429 bird..I hope this turns out..i have owned the car sense 1987. its never seen snow, and over the past 10 yrs or so it has only seen rain a few times. its ultra clean..:D Quote Selected

few more pics Reply #13 – October 20, 2005, 01:53:59 PM thanks all for the kind words..the factory color on the car was silver. which i did like but i always wanted to paint it white.. so in about 1990 i striped her down and shot her white..at the time i had a pretty hopped up screaming 302 with a trick AOD trans, but I always wanted stick a big block in there.. so in about 1991 I stuck in a 429 with CJ heads and a c6 trans.. its got a 8.8 rear with 3:73 ratio. over all its been a really fun car to own.. besides that it rides better than most of the new junk on the road;) Quote Selected
