Look through the for sale section to see if anybody sold things similar to what you have. You might also check eBay to see what people are asking.

Generally those parts would go for $1 each, but only they're in brand-new condition, and you pay the shipping.  :hick:
Death awaits you all with nasty, big, pointy teeth.

Not that losing a member that joined the site for the sole purpose of selling stuff really hurts us, but I was not trying to be arrogant with my reply. When you are trying to sell something that you don't know its value, the smartest way to make sure you sell it for the right price is to find out what people are selling and buying those parts for. I give this advice to everybody looking for anything. If a person asks me what a car is worth I tell 'em to pick up an Auto Trader and find out what they're selling for. You might think it's worth $25 and it's really worth $50, Doing research just earned you $50. Conversely, you might think it's worth $50 and it's only worth $25. Your research would've saved you the bother of trying to sell an item that nobody is going to buy.

And Masterblaster's reply was a joke, about how people want a part but aren't willing to pay for it. I think if you sell much online you'll quickly find this out.

Dude-I sell on line all the time,it's how i make my living-This is the only site i ever got this kind of reception.I'll take a pic of those worthless Ford parts loaded up in the next car i haul to the crusher & post it.
I now know better now than to fool with 80's Ford cars & guys. From now on when i get a T-Bird in i'll just haul it straight to the crusher & not bother with stripping it down. Then there will be fewer parts, maybe that will make whats left go up in value.I'll post a pic of every Ford i get from now on for that matter ready to go to the crusher with all parts intact.
Yeah guess i like to whine-WTF?
Is trying to sell a part to someone who needs it at fair market value whinning?
Sounds like you guys want to take advantage of me.
Oh well never cared for Fords much anyway-Just a bunch of s metal as far as i'm concerned.

If youcan't take what's been dished out, perhaps you are at the wrong place.Just toughen up and be a man. Some harasment and fun isn't going to kill you.Saying Ford parts are ust s isn't going to hurt anyone here.Anyone can own and operate a Chevy,it takes talent and some skill to work a Ford.Quit being a sissy and chill out.I was harassed a little when I got here some time ago.So what.I've been in the military,i was a cop for 2 years and,I'm a grown man.I just took what was given, gave a little back, made some friends and it's all good.Nobody is pushing you out, that decision is solely yours.Like I said, toughen up or walk away. It's all on you.Show some backbone and have fun.

"Dude", you're still not getting it, are you? You asked the value of the parts and I told you how to find the value of the parts. Don't go trolling the internet looking for free advertising and then expect us to set your prices for you. If you're going to go through the trouble of finding places to sell your parts you should at least go through the trouble of deciding what you're going to sell those parts for. If you sell used parts for a living you would have a better idea of what things are worth than we would anyway.

And then to start whining about "Ford guys" and talking their cars down, just because we didn't fall over each other to buy your wares - do you really think you're going to generate customers this way? And as for taking advantage of you - I don't recall your even getting one offer on those parts (aside from Masterblaster's joke, and that was more making fun of us than you), so how are you being taken advantage of? If somebody needed your parts they'd have told you, and they'd have asked you how much you want for it. You're the seller here, it's your job to set the price. If you don't feel like setting your own price and somebody lowballs you it's your own fault (although once again I didn't see you get any offers, so I don't think anybody lowballed you).

As for the crusher: If you're stupid enough to buy cars just to crush them, by all means post pics. Spending money to buy cars to crush just to spite a bunch of guys on a forum that didn't do your work for you doesn't seem to make much business sense, but hey, you're the professional. You know what you're doing. Hell, try to be creative about it. Run them over with bulldozers, burn 'em, land trees on 'em, smash 'em against each other - it's all good. As much as we love these cars, we like to see smooshed steel just as much as anybody. And seing how nobody in their right mind would buy from you after seeing your attitude, you may as well crush 'em, 'cuz they're certainly not gonna make you any money otherwise.
