Nice launches! And I can't believe no one's used the handle 'Turbo Coupe' before.

I assume from the IHI mention in your sig that you've still got the 2.3T. How do you lift the front wheel with so little rotational mass? Seriously, I've got to know.

Wow nice TC. I love the rims. They look really good on a TC.

haha i know right, i have the same screen name on turbotbird.com, i was surprised no one had taken it on either board.
yeah my car still has a 2.3L in it with the stock IHI. the ihi actually blew up so i bought a .63/.60 T3 just havent put it in yet. i think the combination of the 2 step rev limiter that allows me to launch on 5psi of boost at 4000+ rpms, the sticky hoosier tires and the stump pulling stock gearing (3.55s, 3.97 first gear = a lot of mechanical advantage) helps the car jump out of the hole. my best 60ft was a 1.839 but i bet it could have gotten even lower if i had the chance to try launching at 5k. once i get the T3 in i hope to be in the high 13s

The launches look great... Except possibly for some of my nitrous passes(no pictures though), mine has never nosed-up as good as your car.

BTW... Welcome to the board.

Ummmm......something is wrong here. Evidentally you have the suspension setup pretty decently and you getting the power to the ground but your times don't add up. I NEVER seen a mid 14 sec car @ 3300lbs lift a front tire. Something is telling me your running out of breath in that car. I have launched way harder than that with the same gears you have in my Mustang and it is a low 13 sec car and never was able to pull the front wheel like you did with similar 60ft times. Could you post a pic of your timeslip? Like I said, something is not right:dunno:
