for those whom would like to know

for some time now i have had the option to move to Florida"palm beach" and blew it off a number of times now. and each time for a diffrent reason. but now i think it's time to go.. allmost two years ago i moved from NY to RI and in that time i've only worked about 10 months :yuck: the only fairly good job i had went OOB and i only worked there about 6 months..
and before and after that i have had nothing but bad luck with jobs or finding them.. about a week ago i had to take a trip to florida.my grandfather at the age of 79 passed away.. and while i was there i got two job offers that i did'nt even apply for and for more money then any of the jobs i did apply for here in RI.. in short it seems that i will be moving to Florida soon.. and i have my family backing me big time on this. ie MONEY!
one thing i will say since i do have a wacky sence humor is..

no i will not install a set of large bull horns on the hood of my Cougar  with a cow bell. nor will i ware a 10 gallon HAT!:flip: and country music is out of the question :yuck: the only diffrence is besides being able to get a job "another inside joke" instead of hugging oak and maple trees i'll be hugging palm trees:rollin: :raspberry
 
on another note.. since i'll only be about 160 miles from my buddy ben"bird351" i can pay him a visit and he will see that i'm not the D!ck head that he thinks i im :D ;)

I lived in central FL for half my life.  I've got some family in West Palm.

Good luck down there man.  You will probably love the weather compared to RI.  And don't worry about that country music/southern stuff.  Every Southerner knows that Florida isn't part of the REAL South.  Most people down there are originally from up north or south of the border.

sorry to hear about your grandfather.

congrats on the job offers though. wish i could pack up the fam and move....far away from friggin ma....yep, im a masshole, and i hate it.

I would do the same thing if I were you. It sounds like RI has been nothing but trouble for you.
I've been to Florida, too. It rocks.

and if you called me and ask me if i could come over and help you fix your car even after all the shiznit flinging between us i'd still jump in my car and drive over to help you;) well maybe jumping into my car may not be a good idea i might miss and hit my head or worse put a big dent in my cougar :giggle:  and running to your house is'nt a good idea since it's to far and i smoke way to much *cough cough!!* i guess i should get in my car drive there;)

besides i would like to meet up with the people from the south and make some new friends since that where i'm moving to.. and whats better then metting up with some of the people from this board..

My biggest problem with ya was that you were constantly puppiesg Shawn to the point where I think he said he even blocked you on AIM for awhile over it. (and the  was, I think at the time he had been saying a lot of good things about you, to me, as far as you knowing your shiznit and being an overall decent guy and what not) While I may not enjoy the best of reputations around here, and while I may profess to not care about the opinions of most, (unless I ask) there are a few people here that I consider friends and would actually speak up on behalf of if I felt the moment called for it. Shawn is one of them. I called it like I saw it, which is what I try to stick to.. and as I saw it at the time, he was building you up, (in conversations to me) and you were shiznitting on him regularly in public.

Now just as a reference to how I view this sort of thing: I have one friend I've known for over 20 years now, and he's infamous for screwing with people. So infamous, in fact, that when he called me one day from the hospital and told me he had been shot, and where he had been shot, I told him to stop f***ing with me. Nevermind he actually HAD been shot.. and worse, he had been shot squarely in the sack. (I shiznit you not)

Now, if I have that sort of long-time friend as a reference, and I actually thought enough of it to speak up at the time I ripped you for (what I felt was) going overboard with ripping on Shawn, I'd say there was something to it. You may disagree. However, I'd say that if Shawn really did block you on AIM over it, there was something to the notion of going overboard with it at least for awhile.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not anti-humor or anti-screwing-with-people. Hell, I do it in my own ways. But there are limits. Two of us in the equation thought that limit had been reached. One did not. Hilarity ensued. shiznit has blown over since then. However, just because I typed all this out, it does not mean I hold some sort of grudge over it or whatever. I'm just clarifying things. (and it should be obvious from the other 2500 examples that it is not difficult for me to crank out the words)

I won't further address the claims of your help-ethic (for lack of a better term) or whatever, because as I've stated above, you've already been spoken for by someone else whose opinion I'd actually trust. (vs. the average person) I just hope Shawn doesn't get annoyed that I aired all this shiznit.. although it's likely he'll understand. (and it was not my intent to make him look like a bitch with this.. making him look like a bitch is Daren's job) :p Of anyone here, he's most likely to figure out why I say or do what I say or do. If you're ever wondering why I say or do something bizarre or annoying, it's probably easiest to just ask him.

well i will try to say this as best as i can since i've bin drinking sake all night BURP  but i think i have a great memory

as for the person that does vouch for me i think thats Eric"coolcats" and if for anything for the only 4 years that i know him i consiter him like the same as like my old friends that i have in NY.. and other then to see other friends at cat jam i would want to see him..  he is a true friend..
and will allways see him that way ;) and if i would ever say this "ALLSET!" it would be because i was able to hang with him..even though that he's to tied up in the hole cat jam thing i know he's there and he knows that i'm there..thats the way i see it..

now as for shawn well that might explain why he has'nt bin on AIM because he's blocking me ok thats fine he's a great kid i can say kid because i'm old enough to be is farther and he knows if i could be there to help him build his motor even if it's not a 5.0 or bigger i'd be there.. and i hope he beleaves that.. because i would..as far as me and shawn we mind fu@k each other for fun thats the way i see it

Nick can be loud, especially when drinking (I know, I've met him) and appear like a know-it-all but hey he did have the fastest car at Cat Jam.  If you wanted that tbird to run again then Nick would be the one to do it.  I don't know him that well, but I value his oppinion highly. 

I don't know you bird, but I'm guessing that we here on the board would get a kick out of the two of you talking together!  Maybe he will drag your ass to Cat Jam next year!
