My image of Chuck is forever changed. He's no longer an 'Anarchy in the UK' punk, but a little green pointy eared midget with a stick.

I say keep it off, my '86 has one on it currently, and as soon as it's running again, it's coming off and never going back on.  IMHO they just don't look right on any car.  Just my :2c:

I honestly dont think you could exceed the cost of a new car buy installing new *stock* parts everywhere in your coug our tbird. Its just plain impossible. You could revamp the entire drivetrain/engine/suspenstion and still come out ahead.

Plus they wear your clear off, and if they're left on long enough will wear right through the paint and even start on the fibreglass pieces. And the clips will collect dirt and start boring a rust hole through your fenders, which is a pain to deal with down the road.

I'm going to try to paint the bumper. If it turns out good, the bra may be gone but if the bumper looks bad, it will stay.
May be an on a week/ off a week kind of thing.

You could save up $300 and have a bodyshop paint it for you.

I'm going to go against that for now just because I'm just looking for a temporary fix. I'll have a shop paint the entire car for me when I'm ready, but I'm not going to put a lot of money in a patch.
I repainted the bottom half of the drivers side of the car using rattle can paint and it turned out pretty good.
Unless I get a spray gun for Christmas ...heyyy...
