sounds like the power unit has failed . maybe a relay or a fuse i would check them first.

mine has this same problem, checked all of the fuses and changed the relay and its still stiff.  probably going to have to change the abs unit

Sooo what your saying is... I should get rid of ABS. :D I just drove it again and it is really bad. Like I really have no brakes. Just a wing and a prayer. Is yours like that?

mine is really hard and I only have front brakes.  I want to fix it right and have everything working as it should.  when I start getting my cash flowing again I'll see what I can do to figure out my problem.  the way that I handle my brakes is downshifting alot wih my foot on the brake.  give that a try.    I'll let you know what I find.

I would too... until I saw the price of everything. Converting to non-abs seems like a better option to me. I shall have to research it.

you can buy a good used abs unit for $50 or so but then you dont really know what your getting or how long it will last I think this is the route that I am going to take when I get down to doing the brakes.

try taking your wheels off and see if your e-brake are just stuck on i know when i was putting a new rear end in my car the new one had one side where the ebrake was just stuck and i had to break it loose.

Sounds like you have either faulty wiring or a dead pump. I ran into the same situation...ended up just converting to vacuum brakes. It's really not that hard, you just have to get a bunch of brake adapters which can be a PITA to find.

Well just ran some tests and the pump works but the relay doesn't so that's good news.

Yeah, I could get the pump to come on if I jumpered the relay plug, but a new relay didn't do squat.
