Yet another setting that had to be changed. Should be fixed now. Keep posting problems you experience, I'll try to get 'em fixed

i guess someone needs to hold my hand. i cant get the image thing in the tool bar to open. nor figure out why i cannot post smileys unless i rember what makes the like this :) :(

I dunno why you're having trouble - The image box opens for me, and the smilies are right there to the right of the text box, just like always:

The hyperlinking still works, but differently. First you type the text you want to display (such as Click here), then you highlight it, then you click on the hyperlink button, then you enter your URL. Example: Click here

yeah the whole panel on my end doesn't work not even the smileys unless i type them manually like this :  )  or  :  ( i dunno what is wrong .. non of the stuff up top will click or anything . sorry for all the questions

I dunno what the problem is - nobody else seems to be having them. Try clearing your cookies and cache

I did make a backup before doing the upgrade, but the server problems were preventiing me from uploading it - or rather, the problems were preventing the backup software from overwriting newer files of the same name. I could have just wiped the web space clean and tried the backup, but I was very reluctant to try it - wiping it and then finding out the memory problems created a corrupt backup would have truly sucked. Had the vBulletin support guy not diagnosed and then the host not fixed the memory problem I likely would have tried that one next. Definitely last resort stuff...

The funny thing is that the problem only manifested itself during the upgrade. Lord knows how long the problem was there, but the upgrade script exposed it. On the second-to-last step of the script.
