The UNParting of DarkThunder [closed]

THE PARTING IS OVER!!!

EDIT: After finding myself another TBird sooner than expected, plus the shipping situation, and my financial situation, I have come to the conclusion that I no longer need to part out and sell the Thunder. woot! Which is excellent news for me.... bad for some of you. Some agreements I will honor some I will have to cancel. I apologize a thousand times. It's not the way I like to do business. :sorry: But this is my life story. I try and try... and as soon as I stop caring it falls in my lap. Instantly. That's how I found DarkThunder, and the new TBird, and everything else I ever wanted. Once again I apologize for the inconvenience.

I'll PM all parties involved with an update. Thanks.

Antonio.

Prolly sell it back to the guys I bought it from. They run a Mustang specialty shop with a few birds in the back. I'm sure they could make use of it.

Might you have the wiring harness associated with the Duraspark distrubutor? (I may be interested in the dizzy itself, aslo, not sure how good the one i have is).  I'd basically need anything & everything neccessary to go from the CFI's ignition system to Duraspark.

I cut the harnesses out and wired it straight to the Duraspark Module wires. If you have the dizzy then all you need as a module and a coil. Which parts are you missing, just the harness?

EDIT: Just went to http://www.partsamerica.com and the pickup for CFI Dizzys (Duraspark III?) are different from the one I have (Duraspark II). Wish I had my Chilton on me.

Dangit, keep for getting words. Anyhoos, the rear swaybar is really the same as the SN-95 Mustang GT swaybars, a little lighter because it's hollow I believe. I've used both swaybars and the work the same. Though the hollow ones are pr0ne to breakage.

The steering shaft has no filthy ragjoint that induces play. Below is a pic of the one I have. Much better than the old one. It may be spoken for already.

I honestly can't tell you for sure if the starter is a high-torque model or not. Sorry.

Toney is just north of Huntsville. Maybe 20 mins from Fayetteville, TN if that. Just $100.

I didn't think there was a difference in the duraspark ii dizzys in the trans department. So I don't know... but it is a for a flat-tappet cam. Suppose I'll add that info and I'm prolly going to redure the price as well.
