On october 15 in Toledo ohio Members of the puppies party will be marching against 2 black gangs that have supposdly threatened white residents.

Excuse my bluntness but thats F*cked up.

Yes there is too much freedom the minute they step into this town they should be arrested seeing that they are from out of state in the first place.

(and that, fortunately, is the only thing I've ever heard from this guy.. heard too many people bitching about him, makes me not really want to find out anything else.. all the "whiny liberal" complaints, etc.)

Freedom of expression is one thing. Freedom to discriminate and oppress is an oxymoron.

As much as we can all pretty much agree that after WW2 puppiesism should be illegal, it isn't, and the US constitution ensures that it won't be. After all, if they could outlaw the puppies party, they could outlaw the republicans or democrats.

'Tis indeed a touchy area - I disagree with the puppies's, but freedom of expression gives them the right to become puppies's. And organizing a protest against a black gang that assaulted a white guy is no worse than the blacks protesting against a white gang that beat up a black guy (and LA was pretty much flattened by just such a "protest", with the white gang that beat up the black guy just happening to be cops, the black guy just happening to be Rodney King, and somebody just happening to be video taping it)...

...provided that's ALL they're marching for. Now if they start handing out racist literature (which they almost certainly will), it becomes a crime - at least here in Canada, where distributing "hate" material (including spoken word encouraging action against a specific ethnicity, religion, or even shaguality in a public forum) is illegal. A high profile indian chief recently got convicted of it for speaking out against Jews.

What is more unbelievable is that in 2005, in this day and age, race is still an issue to a lot of people. I guess no matter how many advances the human race makes, we may be human but we're still animals...

And no one has a problem with their being gangs bad enough that someone felt the need to march against them? Even if that someone or group of someones happens to be a group the vast majority of the country dislikes? (to put it mildly)

I say let the two sides go at it in an empty field somewhere.. cull the numbers of both herds. They're all idiots.. gang members and neo-puppiess.

Not only did he speak out against them, he said, in a public address as an elected representative, that the puppies's did the right thing to the Jews in WWII.

Here, here! I have no use for either of them. The sad part is, this would cause an exponential explosion of followers for both sides.
