REVISED - Anyone interested in decals?

Hey all.  I need a width and height measurement of the
"TurboCoupe" and "Thunderbird" emblems from the trunklid.

Please measure the "background" at the widest point for both (ie. the black area).

The small 83/early 84 version, or the more common large version?

Yeah, I'm having a buddy look at them for me.  I got to thinking these might look a bit better and it would save me from having to try and find "good" emblems.

I'm also having him price them up for me as well as I figure some folks might want them as well, and we can probably work out a some different color combos as they will be two pieces, and offer "special" combos with minimums.  Mine are a darker grey with a black background.

I'm having him look at the old "EFI Turbo" emblems, the "Thunderbird" and "TurboCoupe" ones.  I've got him some images, and just waiting for info back from him and my "samples"  :D  I really have no interest in becoming the "sticker guy" and doing up a bunch of different emblems and such...but if it's feasible I will offer up the styles I have available.

When I know more, you will know more.

Chuck, I'll glad take over "sticker guy" duties...  :D BTW, I'll get the 83 back Monday so I'll have dimensions by then.

Well, what I meant was I'm not going to be looking into "Oh can you make these that say "Blah-blah-blah" or "Can you add flames to them?" type of stuff.  The only "options" will be colors.

Ok..I still don't have any samples yet, but I looked over the preview stuff with my buddy and here is what we have.  These will be 2-color die-cut decals (ie they will be in 2 pieces and 2 colors.  You will have to make sure they are lined up yourself)

The "EFI Turbo" fender emblems, the "Thunderbird" and "TurboCoupe" scripts from the trunk.  I have attached a couple sample pics of the fender emblems with a couple color ideas (what I am using is on the bottom, and the background would be the "car color".  They will be sized like the originals.

What I'm having him do is get me a list of 10-15 color choices, and since these will be 2 piece decals, you can mix and match the colors and as shown in the red one, you can even cut the background out behind the EFI to let the car color show through for a "3-color" look. You could even do a 1-color one with just the "overlay" as well for a more subtle effect.

Preliminary pricing looks like $15/shipped for a set.  A "set" includes 2 of the "EFI Turbo" emblems and one each of the "Thunderbird" and "TurboCoupe" ones.  You can also get them separately for $5/shipped each (EFI-turbo sold as a pair)
Once I dig up my "XR-7" one from the Cougar I'll do that one up as well.  These are not For Sale yet, this is just kind of a head's up.

Anyway...thoughts?
When these go "official" I'll make an appropriate post in the For Sale or Vendor section.  If there's no interest...then I'll have mine and be done w/ it :p

Well, I'm hoping to have mine this week and once I get the color choice stuff from him I guess they'll be available.

Anyone have an 83-86 "Cougar" and "XR-7" trunk script they can can, or have an extra to spare/sell?

OK, well I have my samples.  Got one on the car (you know I HAD to ;)).  Kind of a PITA to get all lined up right the way he gave them to me....so I need to work some sort of installation plan to make them go better.  A little off here and there...but this is a fairly small decal.
