Wanted: 87-88 TC hood

Will buy or I have a standard smooth hood that I am willing to trade if i absolutely have to.  Looking for one around the chicagoland area (WI,IL,MN,IA,OH,MI). :dunno:

I've got plenty out here in WA in excellent shape, shipping is kind of pricey though.

yeah that is a bit of a drive.... just out of curiosity, how much are you lookin to get for one.  Color does not matter.

Thanks, but theres only a few hours left on the ebay one and so far i'm the only bidder (Also at $50)- so it looks like I'm stuck with that one.  But thanks anyway.  I'll take some info on that yard though.

The address where the car located is 1424 Lucy ave. E. Canton, Ohio 44730, and the yard is located at Dave Worshil's  1936 Baldwin Avenue Northeast, Canton, OH 44705  (330) 453-9117 it is literally about 5 minutes. I was at the yard last Saturday, and there were a couple '83 - '86 Tbirds including one Turbo Coupe ('84), numerous '87 - '88 Cougars, including one that was untouched and I was wondering why it was in the junk yard, it was in really nice condition. There was an early '90's Super Coupe with Engine still intact, and numerous MN12 Tbirds and Cougars. I believe they are open 9:00am to 5:00PM Monday through Saturday. I am planning on going out there again next Saturday. Do you know when you might be heading down to pick up the hood?

Probably either this saturday or this upcoming wednesday.  I'm still waiting for the guy to call me back with a pick up time.  I'll definately have to check that yard out though.  I still need a drivers seat and other odds and ends to complete the interior.  You gonna be around on those days?

Well I actually found a TC hood here in my hometown about a mile away from my house for $75.  What really sucks though is that I just purchased one on Ebay yesterday for $50, and it's all the way down in Ohio.  So I did the math and just cut my losses on the ebay hood - Told the guy to keep the $50 and just repost it.  Bottom line - It would cost more to travel all the way down to OH to get the $50 dollar hood as opposed to just paying the $75 for the one right here.  Good thing he was understanding about it, he even said he'd give me what was left after he deducted what it would cost to repost it!! So I kinda lucked out.

By the way, to all of you 87-88 Turbo coupe owners- the TC that I got the hood off from is in the salvage yard now INTACT!!  In fact I know the guy that used to own that exact car!  Everything is still there - Front clip (header panel, w/ the outer lenses still intact, Bumper cover - Both black in color w/ purple trim - Great shape!!), most of the motor, T-5 Trans, the dash, gagues, Interior has seen better days though ....  If anyone is interested, I may be able to go back to the yard and pull some parts if needed.  But you gotta hurry cause these parts probably won't last too long.
