1983 Thunderbird

Did all the heritage editions have this interior?
Or is this part of there custom package?

I didn't like it at first but the entire car works well together.

Tweed was never a factory option.  That said, that car is VERY well done.

I admire the work on the chop, and the paint doesn't even bother me...

It's Gumby's fault.

Chops only work on cars with insanely tall rooflines...ours were streamlined from the factory. Therefore chops on our cars don't usually look pleasing. I'm not a big fan of it (although it is a sloping chop, something that's hard to pull off correctly). But I do like the rims and the steering wheel--sorry Chuck! While they add the same "custom" look that everyone else does, for some reason I'm seeing it working fine with this car. The overall quality of workmanship is pretty ed good--anyone notice the power antenna relocated to the trunk? ;)

I think it looks absolutely SICK. I would love to see that car in person.
I don't like the removed trim, grille, or the paint color, but wow... that roofline looks so incredibly awesome.
It gives it a '70s look.

The steering wheel has to go.  That and I would paint the grill to match the body.  I'd have picked a different color too.

I'm digging the interior and the notch in the trunk lid around the license plate.

Now if only the powertrain fit the looks...

Well shut my mouth and paint me red!

I've never owned a 4-eye 'Bird, only Cougars and they don't have the notch.  I like it.  Way to go Ford!
