I honestly dont think you could exceed the cost of a new car buy installing new *stock* parts everywhere in your coug our tbird. Its just plain impossible. You could revamp the entire drivetrain/engine/suspenstion and still come out ahead.

I got no choice to use lot of light mastic and bondo...

Since the car will be painted black, it would have been a lot wavy if I didnt did that.....
My pass side is almost finished... I started attacking the driver side today...

Did I told ya all?

MY FINGERS HURTS!!!!

Here's the custom trunk interior I started to do. I plan to use Polyester Resin, MDF rings, Cloths, bondo and Speaker Carpet....

I will apply 2 layer of Polyester resin tomorow over the aluminum foil and will make 3 parts of this big chunk...

2x 12" sub box and a back plate to hide the light in the trunk that I will cover with Gray carpet....

Here's the link where i got the idea.....

If I can, maybe i'll try to find a Fox again as daily driver... I really enjoyed every cougar i owned... It was like driving a lounge seated in my @$$ groove...  :rolleyes:
Not a chance I buy myself a mustang...  :nono:

Did you notice, Sly1990, that the can of fiberglass resin you've got there has an '83 Thunderbird on it? Perhaps an omen? :D

Removing all that gummy stuff from under my fenders was a PITA and terrible...

Finally its over...
I will put bran new Asphalt Spray (Tar coating) after i neutralised all this rust....

Note : If anyone wonder why one side is black and one is white.
black = Final primer
White = Scratch Filler Primer..

 fitting that hood was the worst part i guess...

The hood was still to high by 1½" in the back and I realised the hindge was worn to badly and was kinda torquing in every ways.

After 10hrs spent using lot of equivalent of your "F" word (but in french) at every minutes trying to adjust/shim everything (Fenders, doors and hood) after putting back all the front end togheter, I finnaly decided to remove the springs on my hinges and BOOM! almost Perfect fit....  :screwy:  :bs:

I will finally be able to finish my fenders and hood body work....

When you said "1967 here I come" I though you were talking about the car, but you got that greaser look down good in that one pic.

Nice car by the way.
