The '89-'97 Cougar and Thunderbird and 93-97 Lincoln Mark VII use the MN12 platform, which is unique among Fords. Very few parts will interchange with any other vehicle. You can put a 5.0 in using parts from a 91-93 or you can swap a supercharged 3.8 from a Super Coupe or 89-90 XR7, and you can use things like wheels from other 89-97 T-Bird/Cougar models as well as 86-94 Taurus/Sable (but no other Fords - the MN12 has a unique bolt pattern). You can get some very nice seats from 89-90 XR7 or 89-95 Super Coupe. You can still get body kits and cowl hoods (although come to think of it the hoods may be T-Bird only). Other than that you're pretty much out of luck - the MN12 chassis was very different from any other Ford car and has very little parts interchangeability.

I doubt very much that stang lights will fit. Fox body cars are virtally identical and they are not bolt in.

I honestly dont think you could exceed the cost of a new car buy installing new *stock* parts everywhere in your coug our tbird. Its just plain impossible. You could revamp the entire drivetrain/engine/suspenstion and still come out ahead.
