Only a Question...

If i am using a car that hasn´t any electronic parts for the engine, like computer, sensors, all that things of the modern cars.....Can I swap any Ford Engine-Transmission (no FWD of course) and attach to the rear and will work, adding all the controls and sensors like was at the donor car ?

    I am saying this, because my brother has an F-200 89. It has the 5 Liter engine V8, all the basic setup for here, this means, an engine with carburetor and no more. No emission control, no cats, even no duraspark, nothing really modern. I was talking with him about changing the engine and drivetrain, putting the entire drivetrain of a Fuel Injected 5.0, or a newer 4.2 V6 , even a 4.6, just buy the entire truck at the yard and put all the  that comes with the truck an put at the F200 and connect all to the rear end.

    Really, we dont planning to do that, i only want to know if that is possible. This idea is running circles around my mind. Thanks...

A F200 huh??? Must be another one of those south of the border models. We have F150, F250. F350, etc. Back in the '70s there were F100s but were dropped for the 150s. The gross weight rating was higher on the F150, just enough that it bought a little time before Ford had to install catalytic converters on the light duty trucks.

Now to answer your question, sure it is possible to swap  computer controlled engine/transmission into a earlier vehicle. In fact its getting fairly popular here in the states.  There is a number of early Fords (Mostly Mustangs, Fairlanes) that have been resto-fied with modern drive trains. I've personally seen a '68 Cougar with a 2 valve 4.6 mod motor in it(waste of a time and energy on a '68 Coug in my opnion, I could see a 4 valve cammer 4.6 though).

These swaps are never without some fabracation, often mounts, linkages, exaust, driveshaft, etc, must be modified to fit the earlier chassis. I'm guessing in your case except for installing and connecting the wiring, it would be mostly a bolt in.

Wow you are south of the boarder.  F200's  I wouldn't know they existed if it weren't for them showing up in the computers at work.  To answer your qeustion, yes.  The 5.0 fuelie swap would be the easiest.  If in fact your 89 looks like our 89's up here it would be mostly a bolt in swap.  Just get an entire truck if you can.  A newer engine swap wouldn't be out of the question but it would present more problems.

actually, the F100 is still around, just under a different name, its called the Ranger

for a few years, i think it used to be called "F100 Ranger", then they just called it a Ranger

as for your swap, its definatly possible, if you do have everything, all youll probably need is some engine mounts fabricated, and a few smaller items, and use the wiring harness and everything from the truck, the harder part will be tying in the wiring harness to the trucks system, youll probably need a few relays and whatnot

I dont see why it wouldnt work? But I am alittle confused. Are you trying to swap truck engine into a truck? Also I would just use the stock sensors.

Well not really,  the f-100 was built on a fullsize frame.  The only thing differn't about them visiually than the f-150 is the small wheel bolt pattern.  It shares only this with the downsized ranger.  The heavier trucks used the larger five lug pattern.  I believe the f-100 died at the inroduction of the Ranger. in 1983.  Prior to that they had the curior pickup built buy mazda.

he wants to swap an EFI engine into a truck that doesnt even run duraspark

that things looking pretty good...

should be possible Mex, just have to do all the wiring yourself into the new truck. plenty of room in that engine bay for what you want.
