Guess who bought a new toy...

Well, with the sport rusting from the inside out, I decided it was time to find another base to start from.

Seeing as I'm gonna lose my sunroof, I guess I'll just have to make this one a little extra fast (I can deal with that compromise). And from the looks of it, I should have a fun drive home in it :D

The motor mounts are custom made heavy duty units. They were made by Chuck W, from the NATO website. I think he made a limited run of 25 sets, awesome worksmanship/quality.
:D

Looks like a good buy Crystal.  Gonna be a haul to get it home though...wait...looks like you moved.....so it's a bit closer.

put a 5.0 in it, that 4 cylinder will never make any power
It's Gumby's fault.

Hey Chuck, bet you're glad to see your motor mounts staying in the circle, lol.

This car's not gonna see roads for a bit once it's home. It's getting stripped over the winter and it will be done right. The t/c drivetrain probably won't go back in this car... my project bird will be a 5.0, but don't worry that 2.3 turbo will find a good home in a nice lightweight hotrod further down the line :D

its sarcasm

ever since i bought my turbo coupe, ive been hearing the "the 4 cylinder makes no power, put a V8 in it" and all those ignorant comments, so i might as well jump on the dick waving band wagon  :hick:

NICE purchase. and a great price.. to bad its not a 4 eye.. hehe

I would still drive it around with the Turbo 4, I have been thinking about picking up a TC when I get to have a toy again, just to see what they are like. That or another capri with the inline 6. I still miss that car too.
