Tranny whines?

The tranny in my 84 5.0 whines like a son of a. Its an AOD and i've had it worked on. A valve was unbolted. It still whines like theres no tomorow. Is there anything i can do?

Whines? I'm chasing an annoying sound, and not having much luck. What kind of sound is it? High pitch, almost like a whistle? Only at higher speeds? I'm wondering if it's the same thing I'm hearing on my car.

valve was unbolted?

One of the bolts on a valve came undone and was laying at the bottom. I guess. I dont know much about trannys just everything else i know about though. It whines from a dead stop until it shifts to second then stops and starts again at the high rpm before third. sounds like kinda like a turbo kinda. the faster you go the louder the whine.

hmm my aod makes electronic "noise" like a buzzing
