Digital Fuel Guage

Digital fuel guage on 85 Elan stopped reading gallons but now has
CO where the number of gallons remaining should be.  Has any one seen this?  What does it mean?

Here ya go. Never mind the "Conti & Mark VII" stuff, this is also the procedure for the 'Bird:
2015 Mustang GT Premium - 5.0, 6-speed, Guard Green - too much awesome for one car

1988 5.0 Thunderbird :birdsmily: SOLD SEPT 11 2010: TC front clip/hood ♣ Body & paint completed Oct 2007 ♣ 3.55 TC rear end and front brakes ♣ TC interior ♣ CHE rear control arms (adjustable lowers) ♣ 2001 Bullitt springs ♣ Energy suspension poly busings ♣ Kenne Brown subframe connectors ♣ CWE engine mounts ♣ Thundercat sequential turn signals ♣ Explorer overhead console (temp/compass display) ♣ 2.25" off-road dual exhaust ♣ T-5 transmission swap completed Jan 2009 ♣

BTW, I would start with step 5 as that is the most likely culprit

Thanks so much for your quick reply    I will check it now.
BTW  I have an 85 Elan with TC hood and front clip with built 351w converted to mass air and Lentech Tranny and converter.  New project is 87 TC with Beautiful body and blown motor.  Soon to complete 408 windsor for this one.  I Love these old Birds, but not too many of them left in Mass.
