Depends on the year of Mark. Both my 91 and 86 have the 8.8 disc. But I have heard there are some out there with 7.5 drum on them.

this is a 90 so if it has drums on them then its a 7.5 or what?

'86-up LSCs should have the 8.8" and discs, if it is a std version without the HO, its possible its a 7.5". I believe all the '89-'92 had the HO, 8.8" and disc brakes. They may or may not have traction lock...

The '89 LSC rear with discs will fit in my '85 right?  It's just a little wider right.

I can get one off my buddy and am wondering if it would be better to use that then one of the many Mustang diffs I got here.

See my sig, I have Mk VII axle shafts in a TC housing, the wheels don't stick out. When I changed the shafts, they were both the same lenght. Don't know if the '85s were different, but if you can swap a TC axle in and not have problems, can't see why a Mk VII wouldn't work also.  :D

Not completly sure, you could probably swap over your complete drum brake package, and then use your 4 lug shafts. Don't really think your shafts would work if you wanted to keep the Mk VII discs.
