I have the hybrid MM steering shaft on my Coupe and the Bird but I am running SN95 racks.  It is built the same as the one for the stock Fox rack except the yolk for the rack is different.  All I can say is that it installed way faster than the old Flaming river unit and with the slip shaft on it no cut to fit.

The worst part is getting the spark plug boots off. I usually coat them with dielectric grease. Getting the plugs out takes a combination of tools. I use a 5/8in spark plug socket with a 3/4in hex base and a 3/4in ratchet wrench. It was a lot harder with the TEVES brake booster on the left and the thermactor piping on the right. Now all that is gone. a

Those are BBK equal length headers. I don't know if they are factory headers.X

My car has FRPP GT40P stainless steel headers. When it had GT40P heads I had to use the same combination of a spark plug socket and a ratcheting wrench to get the plugs in or out. Now with the same headers and Edelbrock heads I can use a spark plug socket and ratchet no problem, because the Edelbrock heads have the standard plug angle. It's much easier. My car hasn't had the Thermactor system in 12 years so all I have to do to change plugs is pop the intake tube off and have at it.

I used to own a 91 Lincoln Mark VII. That had the Teves unit and all the Thermactor piping in place. From what I remember plugs 3, 4, 7, and 8 were a pain in the ass to get at.

Using the BBK equal length headers I only have a problem with #4. Not near what it used to be with all the  in the way. My car is not a daily driver so changing plugs is not an issue. Between Nov 2005 and today it only has about 10,000 miles on it. This time I gave up trying to make it look "stock" under the hood.

Had a set back. Got done with the installation, started putting in the oil, coolant, etc. Noticed a puddle of engine oil under the car. It was leaking at the back of the pan. Had to drain all the fluids and take everything apart so I could pull out the motor- pissed? You better believe it. The pictures show what happened, you can see how the gasket fits around the rear main. Should start putting it back together tomorrow. If anyone decides to use the Summit oil pan kit please let me know and I can save you some time with the install. XX
