Headliner and window chrome trim removal June 09, 2017, 05:06:58 PM So after 20 years of English weather my car (3.8 cougar) looks like it belongs to a gehtto drug dealer.top coat is toast and I have some nasty rot in the roof just above the driver's door and on the bottom of the rear window both letting water in.i need to get the headliner out and the trim off the rear window.do in need to take the seats out and door off to get the headliner out and what's holding the window trim in (clips and are they likely to break).also paint code where will I find it?.started on the hood today got all the top coat off and wow what a difference. Headliner and window chrome trim removal Reply #1 – June 13, 2017, 12:36:27 PM Found the paint code and the headliner I'll work it out but just had a close look at the rear window trim one side already off its clip which has rotted away so I need some replacement clips if anyone can help with this?.
