Tail pipe for '86 turbo

I need the very back piece of a tail pipe (from the ler to the rear of the car) and am wondering whether anyone might either have one for sale or knows where I might get one.

I have a complete welded exhaust that is less than 6 months old on my Son's 1986.  Everything from Manifold back, but you'd need to come take it off.

You can also order a direct factory replacement through autozone or amazon under the walker brand. Cat back for an 86 all have the same part number. Mine cost me alittle over $100 with a factory replacement ler a few clamps and all the factory style hangars.

I honestly dont think you could exceed the cost of a new car buy installing new *stock* parts everywhere in your coug our tbird. Its just plain impossible. You could revamp the entire drivetrain/engine/suspenstion and still come out ahead.

I don't suppose you have part number for either AutoZone or Amazon do you?  I've looked both places and everything I find says it won't fit my car :(

I found the following diagram for Walker parts but it doesn't give any part numbers for the actual sections of pipe:

I cant seem to find it either...

Id be willing to bet the 87 tail pipe fits and bolts right up. At $23 with free pickup, id give it a shot. Should be able to return it for free also if you get it through autozone.

45010 is the walker part number.

Hopefully this will work. I swapped the car back off my 86 cougar onto my 88xr7 and everything lined right up. I have not owned a 2.3 though, but id guess the tail pipes are the same, ler back.

Thanks!!  I just checked that one out and it's listed for a dual exhaust.  My '86 has a single pipe - 2 1/2"    I sort of backed into this one on the AutoZone site but it says it won't fit my vehicle but it sure looks the same to me:
