f spring facts...

anybody know the spring rate of them? i can see from the pic on summit they are progressive, but thats it. and from what iv heard they lower mustangs .75" and our cars 1.5", but before i get them, i want to know the rate...

oog ood, thsi has been brought up. I too have been very interested (liek as soon as I get my shifter these might be next on my list...). "fastbird86" has them, and I liked how it sat... *sorry I had no answer to your question, but I too am looking into it...

Anyone know the the Suspension Techiniques t-bird lowering springs rate? Anyone know the stock spring rate?

thanks, i just downloaded the catalog, i know the stock spring rates have been posted hear before, and the rear is about 300 stock anyway i think chuck told me that. think i'd lean more tward the G kit with that stiffer rate up front, i rember being told that our cars like heavyer rated springs to compinsate for the added weight.

Don't want to go too stiff on the suspention. The front will sit like a truck and you will be depentent on your tires to flex and give more in the corners witch in conclusion will make the car under stear and loose control in a hard corner.

Someone else like Chuck maybe able to explain better and go into depth a little better.

I know you don't have a 3.8 but on my bird I just used 5.0 spring in the front with a coil cut off. Handled like it was on rails.
