vacations over!

I dont wanna go back!!!!!WWWWWAAAAAA!!!!!do you realize what two weeks sittin on your ass will do?!I have to get up at a quarter til four in the morning and work ten straight.i dont think ive been awake for ten straight the last two weeks.ive had all this time to work on the bird,and didnt lift a finger.made a few junkyard trips,so i guess it wasnt a total loss.if yall dont here from me for a week,ill be in recovery. :sleep:

Don't feel too bad.  I've had a good 2 or 3 months free from school and I haven't touched my t-bird.  It's been sitting since probably November or so, so it could be worse.

What kinda job do you go in so early and work 10 hours?

i work for a die casting company.aluminum,magnesium,other alloys.i work in the plant that does the cnc machining.maintenance.my position is kinda like an apprenticship.learning the ropes till i can do it on my own.we have our own machine shop to make parts for the cnc machines and/or fixtures for the parts we machine.started as an operator and worked my way up.what most people dont realize is how fn nasty that job is.owell,somebodies gotta do it.besides im not given up on $14 plus an hour.that only thing as nasty as the job itself is the  you gotta put up with.no matter where you go or what you do, the  can only get as deep as you are tall.

i worked that at a precision machine shop, cept I was a summer operator that made 8 bucks an hour for 10-12 straight. did cnc mills, lathes and did manual lathes, presses and bores. Ran from 1-3 machines at a time and the tolerences were crazy tight.
