If there were no speed limit...

How fast would you drive? 

I was just thinking about this the other day and it seems the only thing holding back my speed is the fear of getting an enormous ticket.  I'm thinking 90 would be my comfortable cruising speed.

120-150 kph (74-93). Unless it were on city streets, then anywhere from 50-80 (31-50), depending on traffic.

In Virginia, reckless is 20 over or anything over 80.  So when Im on the highway, its 79 for me. :D

id say variable, in traffic, id just pace, but if i get an open stretch, i want to wind out this 2.3L

With the cougar 55 MPH is Ok.....

With the F150 90 MPH at a good road (rare thing here in mexico) would be my cruising speed....

I would be keeping up with traffic. I wouldn't want to be floored if everyone else is doing 50 or so. I also wouldn't want to be doing 50 or so when others are floored. If I have the road all to myself, it depends on the road how I would drive.

75-95, Why waste time in the car?

That is the speed I normaly drive on the interstate anyway. In town is a different story I try to keep it below 50mph on the main roads.

Anything over 90 I consider hazerdous to yourself and other. But mainly others. You don't want SUV driving soccer mom pulling infront of you while you are doing over 100mph.

Ditto...Actually, I kinda already do that...Never when grounds not dry and in heavy traffic though. But if I get out front every once in awhile I leave everyone, not racing anybody, just wanna get on it a lil bit...I wonder what people think when out of the blue from a stop light I just stomp it, then all of a sudden I am just cruisin...

I'm so used to doing 5 mph over our (70 mph) interstate speed limit now, I'd probably stick to 75-80 mph for 99.9% of the time even if they eliminated speed limits. It's 45 on most of the main roads here, including my own street.. so 50-55 for that is what I'm used to on those.

on the parkways I go between 75 and 85 depending on the traffic flow, and that is keeping up with the left lane. Otherwise it depends on the traffic, and the morons in the left and middle lanes going 50-60... assholes.

When I was in Germany, I was pretty comfortable around 115-120 mph.  The 5-series couldn't handle anything beyond 215kmph so I topped out at 134mph or so a few times.

The answer to this question depends on the car we are driving.  My Mark 8 would do 110 very comfortably.  Before has done 100 very smooth as well but After doesn't like to go fast at all.  The Tiburon has done 105 very comfortably.

For all intents and purposes, assume that we all drive thunderbirds/cougars :D

75-95 (well call it 100 and this is MPH), and that is pretty much what I do now and that is just keeping with the traffic in the fast lane. Much faster without a decent sports car and you are just asking to kill or be killed, but I have cruised at 90 in my ol' 84 bird (may she live well for whom ever drives her now). she listed back and forth a bit in the wind, but was pretty comfy with no other traffic.

55-75 for me. I normally drive slower than everyone else on the road anyway. I just enjoy cruising around with the radio up and the windows down.
