Im not sure on the 94 Stang springs. Others may chime in on that. You can do a search on here as the spring topic has been discussed....ALOT! lol.... You may want to grab sway bars from a Turbo Coupe ( or fox body GT) That alone will be an improvement over stock. While at it replace the bushings with poly units...Also your steering rack can be swapped with a TC or foxbody GT unit.. All depends on what you want .Keep us posted.

There's probably a few of variants on the springs, both front AND rear, for a 1994 Mustang GT.  The end goal of the Ford Engineers was to have every car roll off the assembly line with essentially the same ride height regardless of options.  THis necessitates different springs for different combinations.  Are the part # tags still on the springs?I know on the S197 and S550 there is a spring code located on the door tag for the fronts and rears.  I'm not sure on older model, but I don't believe they had that so your best bet is if the springs still have the part # sticker still wrapped around a coil....

They sell replacement springs with different ride heights and spring rates for a pretty reasonable price. Personally, i am probably gonna swap the front springs with a sn-95 set i have and leave the rear alone.

I honestly dont think you could exceed the cost of a new car buy installing new *stock* parts everywhere in your coug our tbird. Its just plain impossible. You could revamp the entire drivetrain/engine/suspenstion and still come out ahead.

Why not go with the sn95 all around?what would I achieve by doing just the fronts like you or should I go all 4 corners and do up recommend a shock/strut..thank you

Some guys have found that sn95 springs drop the back TOO much. Again it depends on the rate of the spring and what they were removed from. Some have had good luck with coils from convertibles . So far as shock/struts again that depends on what you want ( performance or comfort) Monroe Sensatrac work well if you want comfort.

What engine has your car got, and what did the Mustang have?  If both have/had 5.0L, you should be alright.  Without knowing your specifics, I can say you'll drop by around 1 1/4 to 1 3/4 inch.  Because your rear wheel arches aren't the same shape as the front, it will appear that the rear is lower, but if you measure your frame height at the pinch welds along the bottom of the rockers, usually the drop is equal to slightly less in the rear.  Try it.  Depending, you may want something slightly higher in the back, usually guys will use springs from a convertible in the back because they give just a little less drop. Don't mix your stock rear springs with the Mustang front springs.  That look is not becoming on these cars.

I've been seeing that others are going w just the fronts.i would like comfort but a little tighter suspension.its to bouncy type now.the shocks seem to be ounce ok though.

If your Mustang has a 4.6, you'd better recheck the year. 94 and 95 still have a 5.0, 4.6 came to Mustang starting in 96.

I just rechecked yes my 94 has 5.0 but you were right as I just remembered the springs are off my 96 w 4.6 pro charged.

What's wrong with alittle bit of rake? Most of our cars suffer from saggy rear springs anyways. Im leaving the stock rear springs because i eventually want to go to cargo coils. I routinely put several hundred pounds of weight in the trunk.

My buddy has an old 4 runner. I used to hate riding in that little thing. It had virtually no suspension at all. He had a 3" lift and the recommend shocks on it. He kept breaking off shock mounts and everytime a shock mount broke it was better riding. He has beefed up his shock mounts and threw some 10 way adjustable shocks in there. The one setting and it rides like a caddilac. 3 or 4 and it has a very nice firm ride with very little bounce.
