Turbo Mark VII Time Reply #30 – December 21, 2014, 08:28:44 PM Decided to get the interior started since I need to get an engine hoist to pull the motor out, to install the suspension stuff.Got part of the sound deadening out with nothing more than a putty knife and my hands. Also, that is the insulation from the 1/4 glass area, so much insulation.Sanchez-4767 by Detroit Style, on FlickrInsulation on the drivers side.Sanchez-4770 by Detroit Style, on FlickrHello, little guy.Sanchez-4773 by Detroit Style, on FlickrNo more insulation.Sanchez-4775 by Detroit Style, on FlickrWhen I got the car, only one speaker worked. This may be why, both rears are like this and the cones do not move at all.Sanchez-4769 by Detroit Style, on FlickrThis had to be in the car since, it was built.Sanchez-4774 by Detroit Style, on Flickr Quote Selected

Turbo Mark VII Time Reply #37 – December 27, 2014, 07:10:10 PM It's a baby turbo, measuring in at 70 or 76mm (the 57mm is for the import site that I am on). I have been told its a 76 but, it looks like a 70 either way, its not what I'll be using when the car fires up. Quote Selected

Turbo Mark VII Time Reply #39 – November 14, 2015, 11:05:39 PM Let's catch this up a little.Saying good bye to the electric brake system.Brake Update-5027 by Detroit Style, on FlickrThe worst part about putting a 4g63 into this car is, figuring out what wires have to stay and which can go. The majority of this harness is for the air ride and brake system which, is all controlled from the trunk.Harness Destruction-5034 by Detroit Style, on FlickrFound the headlights!Harness Destruction-5035 by Detroit Style, on FlickrNow, I just have to get them out of this mess.Harness Destruction-5036 by Detroit Style, on Flickr Quote Selected

Sorted out the last few wires that were in the harness that ran up to the battery isolator and some relays and, removed the blower box.Harness Destruction-5055 by Detroit Style, on FlickrIt cleans up well but, there is still a lot of dirt built up where the wire harnesses use to be placed.Harness Destruction-5059 by Detroit Style, on Flickr Quote Selected

Turbo Mark VII Time Reply #44 – November 14, 2015, 11:10:22 PM Picked up a free motor, needless to say I found out why it was pulled out of the truck it was in.
