Decided to get the interior started since I need to get an engine hoist to pull the motor out, to install the suspension stuff.

Got part of the sound deadening out with nothing more than a putty knife and my hands. Also, that is the insulation from the 1/4 glass area, so much insulation.

Insulation on the drivers side.

Hello, little guy.
Sanchez-4773 by Detroit Style, on Flickr

No more insulation.

When I got the car, only one speaker worked. This may be why, both rears are like this and the cones do not move at all.

This had to be in the car since, it was built.

I have  a new game now, it's called what electrical  in the trunk can I throw away. The only things I need back there are the tail lights. The antenna, gas door release and trunk release can even go.

It's a baby turbo, measuring in at 70 or 76mm (the 57mm is for the import site that I am on). I have been told its a 76 but, it looks like a 70 either way, its not what I'll be using when the car fires up.

Let's catch this up a little.

Saying good bye to the electric brake system.

Brake Update-5027 by Detroit Style, on Flickr

The worst part about putting a 4g63 into this car is, figuring out what wires have to stay and which can go. The majority of this harness is for the air ride and brake system which, is all controlled from the trunk.

Found the headlights!

Now, I just have to get them out of this mess.

I think, it's safe to say the car may never run again... After taking the sheers to the harness to speed up the harness destruction.

Found this in the glove box.

Got a little work done tonight, the air ride/brake harness is almost out (just need to take it out of the trunk and fish it through to the cabin). Sorted out the last few wires that were in the harness that ran up to the battery isolator and some relays and, removed the blower box.

It cleans up well but, there is still a lot of dirt built up where the wire harnesses use to be placed.

The engine harness is almost done. I need to find a good route where it wont be affected by the turbo/exhaust and then, loom it up.

I can officially pull the motor to install the k member!

Sorted out the headlights, got the harness tied up and ready for some loom. I still need to figure out the route for the other harness to get it away from the turbo.

Picked up a free motor, needless to say  I found out why it was pulled out of the truck it was in. One rod is loose and has vertical play at the big end. So, its off to be cleaned and freshened up.
