Brake mods

Doing a full brake mod on a 69 Chevelle and thought you guys would like to see how i do it. First remove all the stock junk including all valves and lines. Then fab up with copper ferrous lines . Mount a valve and go from there.

Here is the Vette master installed in the Chevelle with a new booster and my trademark spiraled lines. Note the valve has easy access for adjustments. In truth i have never see many cars that duplicate my style in line instillation. But some say it is my trade mark and look for it at shows. Once they see that they assume we did the car. just saying people E Mail me all the time on this. Normally people say hay RENZO saw another car you guys did this weekend. The brake system gave it away. Then they ask me to see the tool that made the spirals. I laugh and tell them the tool is top secret. Then they offer to pay me to make them one. Seriously i make them by hand. So now i tell people the secret tool is always hidden in the shop.  Sounds good anyway and just thought you guys would get a laugh at it. have a great day .

Looks nice.  I am jealous, I have always been intimidated to try and do brake lines and flaring etc..

Looks like your wrapping it around a tube of some sort and bending/shaping it.

It is easy to do with the new Copper Ferrous line it is a piece of cake. We used to use stainless but to hard to work with and it leaks. more often than not. Next time try and make lines and buy a good flaring tool. It really is not that difficult. have a great day guys.

Them lines are great to work with. It's all I use for replacements, and they seem to be holding up to the salt stuff here.

Well, you've inspired me to get my butt in gear and complete my 5 lug swap with new brake lines.  I'll get a thread started soon.

bubble flair the same as "double" flair,, if so I have dies for that.  The dies make the line kinda "roundy" looking on the end?

Bubble flairs are different than double flairs.
