Air show pictures from last weekend...(56k warning)

Here are some pictures of the air show at Offutt AFB last weekend.  I didn't technically go to the show but I live on the base pretty close to the runway so got some decent pictures from my backyard.  The best part was being able to go inside and soak up some air conditioning whenever I wanted, eat my own snacks, and use my own bathroom!  The downside was I didn't get any pics of the static display aircraft.

Neat pictures :)

I've always liked piston engine planes better than jets. Probably because they sound more like cars ;). Your air show was missing my favorite, the Republic P-47 Thunderbolt. It's powered by a Pratt & Whitney R2800 Double Wasp. YouTube it. The engine sounds awesome.

I always loved planes/flight.  Growing up all I wanted to do was be a pilot...somewhere along the way I changed my mind and picked a "safer" career choice.  Still wish I would have done it.

Thanks for sharing!  Really cool to see that Raptor flying alongside the "forked tailed devil" P38.
