Sweet mercifull ... my 20th is dead... forever...

I hate all those Stupid old Fu**tards driving on the road.....

My 20th is dead...... Peace to his soul..... He didnt even live fully his 9 lives.... (I was the 8th owner)

--> R.I.P. <--

Born April 11 1987
Died June 30 2005

Will post pic As soon as i go to the Towing Co. to take it.

Me and my friend are O.k....  Only I got scratches on the forehead from after I hit the Sun visor while holding my iced tea can (which i save btw....  :giggle: ).  This No driving skill  was good for the headache of his life... he was bleeding like a murdered rooster when he got out of his 2004 Camry...

The worst part is : We both live within 800m of were I hit him....  :disappoin
He had a stop to do (I didnt) at a transverse street, he looked at me but he hit the gaz anyway.  (The way a grandpa do to get out of a church parking lot.)
So i Plugged him solid at 60Km/h bending the whole front of his car with at least 25 feet of tire mark with the 4 wheels.
So long my brand newmustang radiator i installed yesterday.....

Why!.... I Say Why!....  :bs:  :sorry:

It was my 3rd 20th anniversary in the last 7 years and they all ended like this.... because of idiots......  :disappoin

My front end is bent like i hitted a wall....  The fan/radiator/bumber  are now an integral part and my wheels are stuck, surounded by what is left from the fenders....

Now I need to relax, Smoke some fatty and cry a little.....  :yuck:

Yes, i will try to get an other one.....  I'm a real fan of those.....
I'll try to arrange with insurance to keep the car after they pay me (minus Storing, towing etc....)

The bad part is, since those car are already tough to find, A good condition one is a miracle by itslef.... (At least here in quebec where the salt is king on the roads in winter)

No kidding.... i'm looking everyday in the newspaper for Cougar for sale.... The last one i saw was mine a year and a half ago..... all others i saw were +1990 And even if i find a complete one in a yard, the law forbid em to sell me a car "as is".  I will need to part it out and reassemble it at home because they dont have vehicle selling license.... this is totally crazy....!!!

Really sorry to hear that and glad your all okay.
What is it with people who don't pay attention to how they drive? My sister was in a similar accident some years back which destroyed her car. All because other moron drivers don't pay attention.

There's a 20th here for sale that's been for sale for a few years (at least five). I don't know how much he'll take for it - the last time I talked to him it was $1500, but it wasn't worth that much then. Sitting around for five years has been very bad on it. However, if you do end up getting yours back from the insurance company this one might be worth getting to build a good one out of the two, and Halifax isn't that far from Montreal...

BTW, the car is still yours until the insurance company totals it, and if they try to place you at fault the car is yours as well. Had this been me I'd have had it towed to my place instead of a junkyard - that would eliminate storage fees AND give you levereage in getting the car back. I learned this lesson when I wrecked my Cougar - by the time the dust settled the storage fees were higher than the value of the (wrecked) car.

You can still have it towed back to your house if you want to pay the current storage fees and towing, to prevent the fees from climbing higher. Remember, it's still YOUR car! And you should be able to add the towing/storage fees to your insurance claim, since they are a direct result of the accident.

Ah yeah ("The FvC curse returns again!")

What a bummer. I hate to hear about a 20th eating it.
I almost bought a 20th about four years ago... until the owner told me that it had a serious engine fire in the late '80s.
