Fox Cougar and Thunderbird VIN Decoder

Hi all.  Some of you may know me from FEP.  I had sent an email to the site admin a little while ago, since I was not officially a member here, about a VIN decoder I wrote specifically for vehicles within the scope of this site.  well, now I am a member.

Those of you that are also members at FEP know of my decoding ability there and may have even seen the VIN decoder I have done for that site.  I have also done decoders specifically for 1991-93 SAAC Mustangs, 1982-93 Mustang SSPs, 1984-86 SVOs, and 1983-88 turbo Cougars and Thunderbirds.

Anyway here is the VIN decoder specifically for Fox Cougars and Thunderbirds: http://foxchassis.com/ct

Feel free to try it out, give me your positive and negative feedback and or suggestions, report bugs or errors, etc.  If the site admin would like to take the code (php) and make it a feature of this site, they are welcome to contact me and I will zip up the files and send them.  NATO has already done that ... http://www.turbotbird.com/vin-decoder/

Welcome!  and glad to have you here! :D

Thanks for all the effort to decode these cars and keep a database of knowledge about them.

If you don't know FoxChassis from FEP (Four Eyed Pride), he is a great source of information on our cars regarding options, features, etc.

Welcome once again!

Cool, thanks for the effort on that.

I'm intrigued, but the only things original on my car are the dash, and the shell, k-member, and hood. :hick:

Cool, I'll be sure to link to that on my site.

Would love to pretty up that decoder page, though...

Yeah, I'm not so good at making pages "pretty".  If you view the page source you'll see there is not a lot of html there.

I have no ideas or where to start.  I messed a little with CSS but not much came of it.  So I'll turn it back on you :D ... what do you have in mind to pretty it up?

CSS table classes, graphics, things like that. If you would, please send the original index.php file (zipped) to eric AT coolcats DOT net and I'll start messing with it.
