Hit 50 here today.  I can see some bits of grass here and there ON OTHER PEOPLE'S yards.....

My house faces north and therefore the front does not see the sun.  The trees on the property next to and behind limit the amount of sun in back too during this time of year when the sun is low in the sky.  I'm always one of the last houses to have snow on the street.  Hopefully it downpours tomorrow and gets rid of the majority of  still on the roads to include the sand and salt.  My yard will take some time.  I STILL have some mounds that are around 3 feet high.

We're supposed to get more snow on Tuesday and the temps will plummet again afterward....Hope the weatherman is wrong about that....

I see lightning strikes off in the distance as our snow is melting. 53 degrees right now. Supposed to be back down to 1 degree next week. Sigh.

We got 5 inches of snow Monday so we had a total of about 16 inches on the ground. It was 40*+ and sunny Tuesday and Wednesday. Then it was 50* and we got an inch of rain yesterday. I've still got 4 inches of snow on the ground in ares where I haven't piled it up:wtf:. The snow refuses to go away. Plus it's 25* and lightly snowing again right now. Sigh.

48 degrees here, and sunny. All our snow is gone, but it is one muddy mess. Gonna go tan later, ie; pick sticks up out of the yard from the terrible wind we had yesterday evening/last night.

Hopefully this warm air mass drifts east and gives you guys a break.

I honestly dont think you could exceed the cost of a new car buy installing new *stock* parts everywhere in your coug our tbird. Its just plain impossible. You could revamp the entire drivetrain/engine/suspenstion and still come out ahead.

The snow that's left here is a glacier. It's white/gray and nasty looking. It needs to melt away.

A week ago we got a surprise Thunderstorm with prolonged rain here due to a couple of days with temperatures near 40 F.  This with all of the snow on the ground since Christmas---but the streets got scrubbed clean.  The warmth lasted those 2 days.  The onslaught of rain caused a nearby creek to overflow-- the bridge pictured--closed due to water over the road.  The ice slabs have blocked one portal of the waterway.  The slabs must each weigh more than a car for sure.  It kind of looks scenic.  The temperature has since gone back to lows --like last night = -6 F.

Yeah. So I'm done with winter.
