So, this forum is pretty awesome...

I've only been a member a few days and I've already seen way more activity and input from members here than on the local general car scene forum where I live...

Its nice to see a bunch of like minded people who love their car come together and share their knowledge.

Thanks for making me feel welcome!

To steal a slogan from Napa- "There's good people in these parts"

This is definitely one of least hostile, most helpful forums that I am a member of.

Feel free to stay a while!

x2 This forum is awesome, good call.  I've gleaned a ton of info over the years from here that has helped improve my car quite a bit!

Very low level or pretty much non-existent arrogance, self righteousness, pompousness, and very few instances of self-inflated egos as well.  I have yet to find another forum that's as welcoming and humble as this.  These fox aero cats are even more attractive due to the crowd they draw.  And these folks live up to this reputation in person too!
"lol.. because not too many people care for that style of car"

I really like the crowd on this site also...the turbocoupe site NATO is a good group of guys also.

This conversation came up years ago in a similar way...newbie saying nice things.

I believe this stems from the fact our cars from the factory arent fast or that rare..  we dont have anything to prove to the general masses...we like them and thats what matters.  The fact our cars are similar to 79-04 mustangs is just a bonus for us...we are a group of car guys...

Just my $.02

Guy at my local oreilly has a '92 5.0 'Bird...we run into one another, we always laugh and say to each other "wrong year Tbird!"

I shouldn't laugh too hard though...his runs and drives. :-\

Yep, good place. Good folks.

My junk is so off the wall I don't usually know what forum would want me. I do these projects for my own satisfaction, but it's nice to have people following who give half a . It makes it easier to get over the hump when you hit a wall.

So, do they call you OJ for short? lol
