Same here...St Lou is about 5 hours from me, but there's a lot of cool stuff to see, if you've the time. Definitely hit up the Arch, if being 630 feet vertical doesn't bother you!

The Tap Room has excellent food and even better beer, I prefer a well done steak and the hefeweizen, myself. I liked it so much I bought a couple of 6 pack bottles and brought home..and I'm not much of a bier drinker these days ;)

Nice!

I was in St Louis the other day, but about the only thing I saw was the spare bed at my wife's cousin's house...we'd just drove back from W Virginia and ran into the snow. We crashed for a few hours, ate breakfast with them and their baby boy, and braved the snow and wind to get home to our own crumb packers. Good thing too, what with Indiana getting the hell clobbered out of 'em by the after effects of the Blizzard of 2014. We were contemplating one more day down south, but we were pretty homesick for the kids.

Anyway...hope ya have a good time David!

Talk about deals, i call the taxi service at the airport in St. Louis, they want $51 bucks plus tip each way.  I call up Hotwire, the same people i booked the airfare with, and i got a compact car for 3 days for $34 bucks all in.  Crazy deals, to be had.
