Put in a digital clock to replace that power consuming dial one, and found a stock radio to replace the Pioneer deck that was pretty much just shoved in there. it's just a am/fm radio with the mechanical presets, would have liked to find a digital one or at least the dial radio w/cassette, but slim pickings for radios in these, or an 80's Fords for that matter.

Well, It needs rear shocks, rotors and possibly pads up front, and need to find out why it's idling so high. But stuff I want: cruise control, trunk release, new seat belt buckle sleeves.

Bump

I forgot to mention the best part: $8.50 for the radio and $5.50 for the clock!

Mine idled real high also.  Found the TPS (Throttle position sensor) was bad.  I replaced it with one from Napa and all was good once again.

Go Fast the first time.  The tickets the same.

X took me a while, but finally uploaded this pic. Clock's from an 88 Cougar, radio's from a 86 Crown Vic. My owner's manual shows this as an option, but I don't think I've ever seen a 85 without the cassette, this style or the electronic one.

There's a member on the NATO site who is selling three digital factory radios right now if you still want one.
