Rims

Are these stock? I've seen them on a few birds, but this is the first Cat I've seen them on.
Current: 1986 Thunderbird, 105k 3.8/C5, 2 tone  Midnight Wine/Medium Taupe, wing windows, wire wheel covers.


Former: 1985 Cougar GS 115k Oxford White/Regatta Blue, 5.0, full console, 14" 8 hole aluminum T-Bird rims, Edelbrock valve covers.

14" phone dial wheels. (remember rotary phones?)

my 87 cat had them. not sure if otheit was stock.

Ahh! Thanks :) A buddy of mine calls then "bowling balls", lol. I believe they are aluminium.

The 15" ten-hole aluminum wheels are generally referred to as "Phone Dial" wheels, not these 14" wheels.

These eight-hole 14" aluminum wheels were never a factory installed Cougar wheel. They were the standard Thunderbird Turbo Coupe wheel for 1983 & 1984. In 1985 when the Turbo Coupe went to the 10-hole 15" wheel, these became the aluminum wheel option for non Turbo-Coupe Thunderbirds from 1985-88.
