Jack Points for Rear axle removal June 23, 2005, 12:11:39 PM Any work requiring the rear of the car up, I've always used the rear axle or pumpkin for the jacking and jack stands. Now if I have to take the whole rear off, whats a good place to put the stands? The frame rail area (where the stock jack fits) tends to crush if the jackstands are put there...Thanks Quote Selected
