1979 T-Bird w/no turn signals August 07, 2013, 01:59:06 PM I am hoping that someone on here has the answer to this...Just recently lost all turn signal functionality on my '79 T-Bird. At first the right signal went out then the left one. What is or isn't happening:The interior turn signal indicators aren't lit nor is there any clicking sound indicating a turn. Also there is no exterior indication for turns. My initial though was a burned-out bulb somewhere, but I don't think that it would be a bulb since it took out the interior indicators AND the turn indicator sound. My next guess is that it would be a fuse?? But I'm no ASE mechanic nor do I have the $$$ available to start "chasing" parts.ANY ideas from the forum gurus?? Quote Selected

Do all the bulbs work?If the back-up lights don't work it probable is a fuse. Ford likes to put the back-up lights and turn signals on the same fuse.But it can't hurt to check the fuses anyway.You may have a bad turn signal flasher.Sorry Turbo. your post wasn't there when I started typing and thinking.
