Painted Headlights

Well, I finally got the guts to take apart all of the front lights and "smoke" them. This involves painting sections of the headlights which do not reflect light forward. This also means that the amount of light projected isn't affected by the modification. In fact, many newer cars use this technique to have the "smoked" look to the front lenses.

The headlights were a breeze, but the corners were a HUGE pain to take apart.

Wow, that fits your car so well.  Goes along with the modded but extremely clean look.

very sweet dude, i like it a lot

also noticed that you removed the grill and the part of the grill on the hood, it looks great, shame they used a bunch of holes to mount it
It's Gumby's fault.

Thought about doing that to the headlights on my 87 but never got around to it.
Looks mint though.

Yeah, it's a stupid design. Five holes for that little plastic "moustache" on the hood. I really hate it.
I'm filling and painting them this week.
