Also remove the sound isolation from the floor mat! That alone is 20lbs!

They felt around 75lbs a piece when I picked them up earlier, never weighed them though.

Some of the heaviest power seats I have ever seen in any car.

I honestly dont think you could exceed the cost of a new car buy installing new *stock* parts everywhere in your coug our tbird. Its just plain impossible. You could revamp the entire drivetrain/engine/suspenstion and still come out ahead.

Well when i was young they were light. Now they are heavy as HELL. The older i get the heavier car parts become. JUST SAYING

Well i have Recaro seats so they are heavy. I removed the electric junk. I am going to say 60-70 LBS just a guess.

Power recline as well? I'd like to know the weight.

I'd take mine out and weight them (power seat, power recline, leather) but in and out 7 years ago to be reupholstered was enough. In the car they will stay ;).

Nope, just regular recline. If I get around to it this weekend I'll dig it out and weigh it. I hate power seats just because of how useless your car is with a dead battery.

I put together a set of plastic buckets with manual seat tracks and pulled the power units out.  I don't recall the specific weight of either set, but the difference was 25 pounds each.

After I saw the minimal weight savings and experienced the significant difference in comfort, I swapped the power units & stock seats back in.

For 50 pounds & lousy seating position, I'd rather find a way to make a little more power...

Only reason I could justify it would be:  Because Race Car! And this one's not.
