Just a silly question!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  How do you know you are going to get pulled over. This fascinates me to death. So every time a cop pulls behind my car i should pull over and have my paper work in hand. Then wait for the flashing lights??????????? . WHEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That is why i love this site.

Tom, i don't think that's the scenario we are discussing here.....it's more about flying past a cop car on the side of the road, knowing he has you dead to rights for speeding, and maybe seeing his lights flip on in the rearview mirror.  In cases like that i always pull over instantly, and have even had a few cops fly past me on the side of the road not realizing i pulled over for them!

This.

I got a warning on a 84 in a 65 zone. I was running late to work and was stuck behind a semi in the slow lane. I floored it to get around him, right as I was passing the semi, I saw a cop hidding under the overpass.

He asked me why I was going so fast, so I told him I was only intenting to pass the semi and I was carpooling with 3 guys (a 50+ mile commute), and that I had been driving this same road everyday for 6 months and I got impatient.

I honestly dont think you could exceed the cost of a new car buy installing new *stock* parts everywhere in your coug our tbird. Its just plain impossible. You could revamp the entire drivetrain/engine/suspenstion and still come out ahead.

That is a new one to me.  So you actually pull over before you have to, and that seems to help avoid a ticket?  I always keep my head facing straight forward, drive real careful, and pray that the flashing lights don't come on!!!

I agree David especailly if your the only other vehicle on the road........ personal experience multiple times in my big rig. I'd pull over and wait for him, even if he had to turn around. Was just common sense.
