JY TC and 4eyed

ok,, jy close to me insisted that "all his birds were picked clean" but with the 9minutes i had to closing time, i barely even comprehended the vehicle i was attempting to get an auto lamp module for this past saturday was like as in good of condition as a driveable car.

It was an 87 or 88 TC blue with a very oddly two tone color blue/gray cloth interior.  Aftermarket radio was gone and hood scopes also gone.
Other than that and  a quick peek under the hood indicated a virgin engine and harness like no ones ever bothered it.  Oh,, its got a moon roof also with fog lamps.  only had power locks on the arm rest so i suspect there is no memory seat.

The TC ate my torx bit for the auto lamp module , then the truck showed up to ride us out of the lot.

there is an 83/84 there as well and it looked really complete as well so im thinking this guy misunderstood my conversation with him the day before when i asked if he had in mid 80's birds or cats.

My issue is , i am really feeling terrible for stripping down a perfect tc that may not need much to get it on the road again, but yet i dont need at this time another car.  I know that there is litterally no one else around me in a 50mile radius that would ever care to s about these cars yet its just sitting there.

I am considering buying the whole car and bring it back home but if i do, i know i will be tempted to get it running instead of parting.  something tells me to just let it go but i cant.  I can budget 250$ but if i choose to strip the tc, the bronco will have litterally half the car in it.,,, not to mention the goods on the 4eyed.

The 4eyed had strips along the bottom ,, not sure what that means / meant but like i said,, i got there , spent 8 minutes litterall rushing back to the area i was told to hunt,, then the next 9 trying to fish out my torx bit.
my youngest (chance) was astonished and felt sorry for this car, so did i and i hate to see it get crushed like it is.

what to do?
its like this everytime i see a fox in this situation, i wanna save it.  I need a drug to fix this problem.

lost track of time today but will call tomorrow to find out.
From what im getting as of the past couple years (in this state) , JY cant sell the whole car as "a whole car" because they dont want it put back on the road onces its checked into a jy.

sound right to you? as in the same for your state?

Trying to save Foxes is how I ended up with a Mark VII......

Usually once a car is put into a yard they can't be resold, at least in Illinois. They end up with a salvage title or some other kind of title that prevents them from being resold.
88 Thunderbird LX: 306, Edelbrock Performer heads, Comp 266HR cam, Edelbrock Performer RPM intake, bunch of other stuff.
