And no, not the Disturbed kind this time..

I've got a cold, feels like I'm trying to breathe through a bucket of wet sand.
This crud has been going around here pretty bad, but I seem to be sicker than I usually get. Probably going to the dr monday and get some antibiotics and make sure I don't have pneumonia or strep.

Hope all you folks here aren't fighting this .

I had a 102* fever earlier and felt like I'd been ran over a train..tyelnol ibuprofen and aleve sinus & cold have become my new best friends. I even drank some orange juice earlier..that's like a once-yearly thing lol

We were supposed to get some snow and ice last night, but we just had a dusting of snow. I promise to never complain about the heat of summer again lol.

Right now it's not all that bad...it's when the fever comes on and the pain starts that sucks. I guess it's what I get for going a year in between bad colds lol.

Yeah, that's been going around. I had it for almost a month back in Oct/Nov. It took three weeks of amoxycillin and lots of bed rest to kill it.

We got about 1" of snow, just enough to be an annoyance. I had a weird thought today...if sidewalk blocks were either rhombi or trapezoidal I could curl up the corners of the snow shovel and it would ride up over the seam instead of getting caught on every %@*&! one.

Or a shovel with a very lightly slanted edge, just a few degrees, and the leading corner bent up ever so slightly.

I blame being all buzzed up on cold meds for this insane thought while a sip dr pepper and watch ufc 155, lol

DUDE i got a flue shot this year. At 65 i cant take a chance my doctor told me. I dont know your age but did you get one?? Getting sick sucks. I was the only one in my house that got the shot and everyone else is in bed with a 102* Temps. Danny my wife is so sick she has been in bed for 3 days. Be well my friend. Chicken soup and plenty of rest. Feel Better BRO!!!
