If i read this correctly you have an issue with the inverted flair end on the hard line??? That is correct and an adapter and or a tubing cutter a new line fitting and flaring it and bingo you are dun. The left side has a bigger inverted flare nut.

Well the Turbo coupe has different lines from left to right of course most cars do. But the fittings are different. The right side has a bigger inverted flair fitting that takes a standard 3/16 line. The drivers side has a smaller inverted flair fitting that also takes a 3/16 line. This is very common on cars that for example have ABS controllers. They make the fittings different so they dont get mixed up!!!

No, the flare on the hoses, not the hard lines.  Daminc has what Im looking for there in his picture.

no part #...they opened a drawer behind the counter, and pulled out 2 for me.. I would assume any parts place would have those fittings. I like to keep things like that on hand for obvious reasons

Daminc is that not a step up inverted flair adapter??? It looks like it and that is what i am talking about!!! Been their many times and i just installed the correct fitting and re-flared the hard line.  But adapters  work. Hard line ends and adapters are available at NAPA. I thought i explained it back a couple of posts!!
