Reply #2 – November 17, 2012, 10:30:19 AM VIN doesn't tell anything about the model, 1983-86.LS had the different door panels, chrome rocker molding, chrome strips on the B-pillar, and the electroluminescent coach lamps, along with LS badging on the taillight.There are other things also (full trunk liner with trunklid piece, thicker carpeting).It was not possible to get these items on a base GS, so if your car has them, it's an LS. Otherwise it's a GS. Quote Selected
